As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Ria can help you with concerns such as anxiety, grief, stress, job, relationships, family, trauma, behaviour, emotional self-regulation, OCD, addictions, disordered eating, educational concerns, and managing negative thoughts and feelings. She is here to help her clients live a fulfilling and emotionally rich life.

Ria has experience working with adolescents, teenagers, adults, newcomers, immigrants, 2LGBTQ+ communities, and people from various cultural backgrounds. Ria ensures that her clients receive comfortable, non-judgmental environment and inculcate internal validation while also assisting them in maintaining stability and resilience.

Ria is an eclectic therapist, trained to provide evidence-based psychotherapy using modalities such as CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, IFS, mindfulness-trauma informed therapy, and gestalt therapy, to mention a few. She thinks that each client is unique, hence tailoring the therapy approach as per the client's needs and goals.

Nathalie is a passionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
who wholeheartedly believes in guiding individuals towards living a more
meaningful life. Her mission is to empower her clients with the tangible tools
and strategies to deal with life’s challenges more effectively. Nathalie holds a
Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience, a Master of Science in
Neuroscience, and is currently finishing her Master’s in Counselling psychology degree.
 
Drawing from her background in neuroscience, Nathalie understands the
complex interplay between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. She believes
in a strength-based and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from a wide
range of therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
(ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-
Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), tailoring the interventions based on the specific
needs of each unique client. Nathalie supports clients dealing with a variety of
different challenges including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, body image,
burnout and work/academic issues, among others. By combining her expertise in psychology and neuroscience, paired with a thorough understanding of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, Nathalie crafts holistic and individualized treatment plans that address the whole, unique individual.
Regardless of which therapeutic framework Nathalie operates from, she
embodies the core values of empathy, compassion, genuineness, and
authenticity in her therapeutic practice, creating a warm, non-judgmental, and
nurturing environment for her clients.
